Vertical panel formwork systems

Crane lifted panel systems are normally used on building sites to form vertical elements and usually consist of a steel casing with plywood, steel, plastic or compound facing material.

As the systems are usually modular, assembly time and labour costs are significantly lower than for traditional formwork, with less components required.

Panels are associated together flat on the ground to form bigger individual crane-lifted units.

Assembly is very straightforward with panels connected and fixed using wedge clamps and hammers, reducing the requirement for expert labor.

Working platforms, guard rails and ladders can be built into the finished units of formwork. One restriction may be that the panel systems are designed for specific utmost concrete pressures, which may confine concrete placing rates.
